Deer Dance

A totem for my people “The Osage Indian”. The original is a hand carved stone sculpture depicting the Osage tribal totem of the deer. It speaks to the tentative connection between the native and his relationship with the animals that feed and nurture him. The artist sculpted this piece with hammer and chisel in Colorado Marble plate to accomplish a classic two-dimensional Bas Relief. The original has been cast and copied in masterful detail and is offered in all color choices.
